Frills, Spools, and Teacups with Our Pretty Ladies!

Dear Teddy friends,

 Happy Teddy Tales Tuesday, everyone!

Come tiptoe inside our dressing room because today we are having the most delightful, fancy dress up party! 

The entire wardrobe has been swung wide open, and the sweet scent of fresh lavender and honey tea is filling the air.

Over on the cosy little bed to the left, my sweet Italian friends Celeste and Rosetta, lovingly handmade by artist Lisa Panigani, are lounging like true little princesses. Celeste looks so serene in her lovely blue gown with her dainty floral headband, while little Rosetta snuggles right beside her in her crisp apron dress, watching all the fun with wide, happy eyes.

Right in the centre, our clever Dutch sisters Sophie and Fenne from Ellence Bears have set up their busy atelier! They found Mummy's tiny antique black and gold sewing machine and decided today was the perfect day to alter all our prettiest dresses! Sweet little Fenne is sitting patiently in her cream bonnet, ready to inspect every delicate seam. Beside her, big sister Sophie is all dressed up in her powdery blue lace gown and bonnet, carefully turning the hand wheel next to a big spool of Clark’s thread. There are frothy lace skirts, ruffled petticoats, and floral party gowns hanging neatly on tiny wooden hangers, waiting for the final stitch!

Meanwhile, I gave myself the most important job in the entire room: Chief Wardrobe Inspector! Perched on my fluffy stool right next to the floral tea set,

I am keeping an eye on the rows of hangers, making sure not a single silk ribbon gets wrinkled while Mummy pours us delicious warm tea in our painted porcelain cups.

Surrounded by so many handmade stitches, clinking teacups, and gentle giggles, it feels like living inside a fairy tale book!
