Happy Teddy Tales Tuesday, everyone!
Step softly and look up at the midnight sky with me, because today I am sharing the most magical, starry adventure! We all know and love our tiny twelve centimetre Stargazer, made exclusively by Teddy Bears of Witney based on a circa 1908 American antique bear who gazes out of the green trimmed window in the Triang dollhouse.
Mummy even wrote the most romantic poem about him and his beloved Starlight, binding it into a readable miniature book for the museum!
But recently, an unbelievable miracle happened. Mummy welcomed his big ten inch brother home, another exclusive creation made by Teddy Bears of Witney and limited to only one hundred and fifty pieces worldwide!
When big Stargazer arrived, tiny Stargazer was beside himself with joy. Seeing them together was pure wonder. Both of them have that same gorgeous aged gold mohair, traditional amber glass eyes, and that unmistakable, gentle snout tilted upward toward the heavens. To celebrate their reunion, Mummy planned a special night-time adventure for us. She spread a soft picnic blanket outside in the quiet garden under a wide, velvety night sky shimmering with countless twinkling lights.
Big Stargazer, tiny Stargazer, and I snuggled closely together on the blanket with Mummy. The night air was cool and peaceful, and the stars above looked like sparkling diamonds scattered across black silk. The two Stargazers tilted their snouts higher, pointing their golden paws toward the brightest, most radiant star of all. They began to tell me the sweetest secrets of the cosmos, explaining how their sweet Starlight shines down on them every single clear night.
They told me that true love knows no boundaries. Even though one is made of antique thread and mohair down on earth, and the other is made of pure cosmic fire millions of miles away in the dark, their connection never fades. Big Stargazer whispered that distance is just space, but love is eternal. Tiny Stargazer nodded happily, reminding us of Mummy's beautiful words: A look from below, a gleam from above, an ocean of distance, a universe of love. They cannot touch in the velvet blue, yet a love so impossible is entirely true.
