A Visit to Madurodam

 Hello Teddy Friends,

Here I am once again to share with you a small adventure that I had last year in October. Mummy took me to The Netherlands for my birthday. It was also very special because we were going to meet my siblings Archy and Pebbles for the very first time. 

One of my favorite adventures is when mummy took me to Madurodam in The Hague.  Never heard of it before. She told me that I would fit perfectly there, so I was really curious. 

I was so surprised when I saw with my own eyes this amazing place in Miniature of  The Netherlands. There were castles, palaces, landmarks and so much more. 

Now I could understand why mummy told me that I would fit in perfectly. All the houses and buildings were my size. 

There was so much to see. Boats in the lakes, a whole railways track. Beautiful roads with all sorts of shops.

There were these beautiful historical places and my favorite one was this small castle. I think I will start living here. 

There was also a miniature theme park with a lovely merry-go-round. I was so excited to be there. Mummy wasn't very happy that I was sneaking around. She didn't want me to get lost especially in this wonderful place. 

I tried to escape but didn't managed because I got tangled in the trees. Thank goodness mummy found me immediately. She wasn't very happy because I was misbehaving. 

We went to have lunch and we had this wonderful traditional Dutch batter treat 'Poffertjes'. They are so yummy. We had a tray to share but I ate most of them. I call them miniature pancakes. 

Just before we left, there was an airport. An airport that I know so well. It's the same airport that mummy and I use to come to The Netherland in Schiphol. 

"Mummy are we using this airport to go back home?"

"No Posy, I don't think your mummy will fit in it and besides we still have another day to go."

"Oh yes that sound good to me. I really enjoyed it mummy, thank you for bringing me here."

She lifted me up and put me back in her bag and off we went.
